Alejandro Arrias y David Bravo son un dúo fotográfico venezolano radicado en Madrid, España. Desde sus inicios como dupla creativa, han desarrollado un lenguaje visual propio centrado en la narración a través de la imagen, priorizando el concepto y la estética como ejes fundamentales de su práctica. Su trabajo se caracteriza por una aproximación honesta y reflexiva, donde cada proyecto busca transmitir una historia sin artificios, explorando el poder evocador de lo visual.

Trabajan de manera conjunta en campañas comerciales, proyectos editoriales y artísticos. Su universo creativo está profundamente nutrido por distintas disciplinas: el cine, la pintura, la literatura, la música, la cultura popular y el folclore, referentes que enriquecen su mirada y les permiten construir imágenes con una fuerte carga simbólica.

Actualmente continúan expandiendo su práctica artística, llevando sus ideas a diversos escenarios y contextos. Para ellos, la fotografía es un ejercicio intelectual y emocional, una forma de construir narrativas íntimas y armónicas que invitan al espectador a detenerse y reflexionar. Su trabajo habita el territorio entre lo documental y lo poético, consolidándolos como narradores visuales con una estética sólida y profundamente personal.

Alejandro Arrias and David Bravo are a Venezuelan photography duo based in Madrid, Spain. Since the beginning of their collaboration, they have developed a distinctive visual language centered on storytelling through imagery, with concept and aesthetics as the cornerstones of their practice. Their work is defined by an honest and contemplative approach, where each project seeks to convey a narrative without artifice, exploring the evocative power of the visual medium.

They have worked together on commercial campaigns, editorial assignments, and artistic projects, experimenting with ideas that range from the minimal to the complex, unafraid to take conceptual risks. Their creative universe is deeply informed by multiple disciplines—cinema, painting, literature, music, popular culture, and folklore—which enrich their perspective and allow them to construct images imbued with strong symbolic depth.

Now continue to expand their artistic practice, bringing their ideas into diverse contexts and environments. For them, photography is both an intellectual and emotional exercise—a means of crafting intimate, harmonious narratives that invite viewers to pause and reflect. Their work exists in the space between the documentary and the poetic, positioning them as visual storytellers with a strong, deeply personal aesthetic.
